Times Tables
At Holly Spring Primary School, we see times tables as one of the most important areas to master. It is incredibly important that every child leaves our school having received every chance to master their times tables facts up to 12 x 12.
Below you can see the order of the times tables that our year groups will be tackling and when (although, if needed, year groups will slow down or split children into groups based on what they need to master each step).
Year 2: 2, 5 and 10 times tables
Year 3: 3, 4 and 8 times tables
Year 4: 6, 7, 9, 11 and 12 times tables
One of the most important ways we can help with this is using our PiXL mental maths app - the link to this is attached below:

Children will have a login and password to use for the website - the top box (the PiXL ID) will be HS6421 and the other two boxes will be different depending on the child. Any practice here will be fantastic and it can be opened using mobiles or computers.
