Y4 Butser Farm - Friday 24th May

Year 4 are delighted to announce our trip to Butser Farm. This visit will support the children in their history and geography work over the next half term. They will be looking at how the Vikings and other early settlers lived in Britain and their daily lives.

The trip will be on Friday 24th May.  We will leave school at 9:15 am and aim to return at approximately 2:45 pm.

Y6 WW1 Experience Workshop

We are excited to inform you that Year 6 have a WW1 Experience Workshop coming into school. Portals to the Past is an interactive workshop that will bring WW1 to life for the children and provide important context to our History learning. The children will be taking part in a range of activities in classes and then as a whole year group which will help to give them a real hands-on experience of this very important topic. Additionally, this experience will be used as a writing stimulus and children will write a recount about the day. This will be a vital piece of writing as it will be used as part of the moderation process for the end of year assessment.

Y1 Beale Park - Friday 3rd May

We have an exciting opportunity to visit the Beale Park in Berkshire. As part of our learning in Science and Geography from the Spring Term, focusing on what animals we know and how they would survive in hot and cold environments.

The trip will be on Friday 3rd May. We will leave school at 9:15 am and aim to return at approximately 2:45 pm.
