Dear Parents and Carers, We are pleased to announce that Holly Spring is introducing a new, more efficient and secure system for reporting and communicating regarding your child’s attendance and absence, called Studybugs. Please download the free Studybugs app or register on the Studybugs website (https://studybugs.com/about/parents) using the email address held for you in school. Then use Studybugs to tell us whenever your child is ill and unable to attend school. We will also use Studybugs to communicate with you regarding your child's attendance. The registration process is simple and a short step-by-step guide is attached for your information. As an added incentive, all registrations made by Friday 3 November 2023 will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £25 supermarket vouchers. There will be one draw for Nursery/Reception/KS1 and another for KS2. By using Studybugs: 1. It’s integrated with our systems so we know right away if your child is unaccounted for in school. 2. It’s quick and easy to register and use; it will automatically remind you to keep us posted too. 3. You’ll be helping the NHS and other public health organisations improve children’s health.
