Year 3 - STEM Day
We looked at the construction of 2 geometric shapes in tessellation to make many different patterns. Our own shapes were combined with those of our team to make a unique design.
We worked in teams to create a structure more than 30cm high, using a limited amount of resources. We planned what would be needed, made the design and constructed it within a limited time. Every structure was different and some met the extra challenge of a piece jutting out of the structure at 20cm or above.
Finally, we worked in teams to see how we could make the longest paper chain from one piece of paper.
